Their equation had turned so bitter, the actor had even refused to be part of the Hera Pheri franchise.
However, post the success of Welcome Back, it is learnt that Firoz wants to work with his old buddy, with whom he has delivered quite a few hits.
Buzz is, he has approached Akshay for the sequel of the 2002 hit Awara Paagal Deewana. The actor, we hear, has also given his nod to the project.
